“Bioesthetics® is the study or theory of the beauty of living things in their natural forms and function”
Robert L. Lee, MS, DDS

Observational research had revealed to Robert L. Lee that individuals with a healthy, highly functional and unworn chewing system do exist, and that this nearly perfect functional state goes hand in hand with natural beauty. Based on his findings, he developed a treatment concept that aims at establishing a perfect harmony between all parts of the chewing system, known as optimal biologic form.

His findings form the foundation for the curriculum of the OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry that offers comprehensive dental training and education for general dentists, specialists and dental technicians who want to practice Bioesthetic Dentistry.

OBI FOUNDATION for Bioesthetic Dentistry® is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. Hands - on Education

Hands-On

OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry® offers different training programs for dental professionals who would like to practice Bioesthetic Dentistry. The Core Curriculum of Biologic Diagnosis and Treatment was designed for dental practitioners, specialists and dental technicians and focuses on diagnosis and treatment using the Bioesthetic Principles. The focus of the Function and Morphology curriculum is on planning and production of Bioesthetic dental restorations that respect Bioesthetic Principles and create optimal biologic form.
"Can’t wait to resume our journey together. After just a few years with OBI, Bioesthetic dentistry has become
a significant part of my life and my practice. As we look back on our lives, many of our regrets are not so much
regarding things we have done, but are actually regrets regarding things we have not done. One of my few
regrets is that I delayed mastering Bioesthetics as long as I did. My advice to anyone who is serious about helping
their patients get healthy and stay healthy: make the commitment to learn and apply the knowledge provided
by this outstanding organization. It has opened my eyes in many ways to help engage and uplift my team,
my patients and everyone I care about." Dr Howard D.

Course Program

Core Curriculum of Bioesthetic Diagnosis and Treatment

Completion of the core curriculum of Bioesthetic Diagnosis and Treatment is an unparalleled educational experience for the dentist and/or lab technician who are interested in offering the highest level of comprehensive care possible to their patient and or client. No other continuing education program in dentistry requires the student to successfully complete two cases and to present their completed case upon graduation of the program. We pride ourselves on being the only occlusion-based teaching institution that offers this may need to be adjusted. Depending on the number of students, we may not be able ti meet the 5-to-1 ratio with true hands-on education. Our educational experience also includes the magic of mentorship. Each student is guided by an experienced, caring faculty member through the completion of their chosen case.

Students who graduate from the OBI curriculum have the knowledge and tools they require to successfully diagnose and treat all types of complex dental challenges with confidence. OBI’s core curriculum is split into four levels; you will want to adjust this sine you don't have levels I or level IV below.
